HIGHLIGHTS

Rebecca Barclay's film credits include 252 films.
For most of these she specialized in colour design, art direction and organization, although during earlier times Rebecca worked as assistant art director on live action films,
including set dressing, continuity, prop design and still photography.

1981/ THE SNOWMAN, TVC CARTOONS, LONDON, UK., Senior Design Artist, Art Direction, Moving Image Colour Specialist, Crew Manager for animated background sequence (renderers & artists). Rebecca was responsible for design and comprehensive development of colour for the entire animated flying background sequences for BAFTA (British American Film and Television Award) award winning film which was also nominated for an Academy Award. She co-ordinated a production crew of 25 and was responsible for maintaining artwork pathways.

1997-2000/ WALT DISNEY ANIMATION CANADA, Art Direction, Digital Colour Specialist, Training of Staff, Compositing, Art and Graphic Design Development. Rebecca created special sequences within films, while creating colour palettes and ensuring painters were able to complete colouring sequences with special details, attending to continuity and scanned colour quality of painted backgrounds. The role involved art direction, compositing (in USAnimation) & digital colour design on all characters, special effects & props for features, shorts and direct to video, special effects design, background quality and retouching, continuity and production flow on five feature and direct to video films as well as some short animated films. Rebecca was resposible for complete colour design for the "Peter Pan 2" film, Return to Neverland and was also responsible for in-depth training of art directors and painters on various computer systems.
